Pastor Jon Berg has been pastor of Atonement Lutheran in Springfield, Illinois since September 1992. Before that he served for three years as a missionary in Cameroon, five years as Pastor of Trinity Lutheran in Fairbury, Illinois, and seven years as a missionary in Dakar, Senegal.

He is married with three grown sons.
